8-year-old boy to run 10k for Wildlife Trust
An 8-year-old boy from St Agnes is to run 10k in aid of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust to help keep his island clean.

Joss Windridge-Hicks decided to raise money for the charity after one of his family’s cows died from eating plastic that had washed in on the beach.
His online fundraising page explains: “The Wildlife Trust have been amazing and done everything they can to help us stop this from happening again. They have supplied our island with a beach clean bin to help keep our beaches clean!”
The Trust said it is “so incredibly proud” of Scilly’s young people for their support.
Communications officer Nikki Banfield wrote on social media: “Please take a look at his JustGiving Page and help him reach his target. Thank you Joss! You are awesome and we're glad your foot is better! Let us know when you're going to do your run so we can come and cheer you on!”
