Ted Moulson resigns as Scilly Councillor

April 2, 2019

Ted Moulson has stood down from the Council of the Isles of Scilly.

Ted was elected to the Council in 2014 and unanimously voted as Chairman in May 2017. However, he was defeated by Cllr Robert Francis after a year in the role.

He told This is Scilly News: "For personal reasons, I have not made all the meetings this year. I was elected to represent the residents of Scilly.

"I can foresee myself struggling to get to future meetings, so I thought the correct thing to do was to step down and let somebody else, who has more time, be in situ."

Ted's departure means there is now a vacancy for a St Mary's Councillor.
