Golf Club hands out competition trophies
The Isles of Scilly Golf Club handed out trophies for last year's competitions at the weekend.
Trustee Clive Mumford presented the prizes following a dinner served by new stewards John Bird and Sarah Twynham.
Club Captain Dave Stone oversaw the ceremony, with Phil Roe acting as MC.
Some 16 men received 24 trophies, with Steve Douglas winning the Club Championship.
Derek Metcalfe is the new Golf Club president, following the three years served by Gerald Thompson. Dave Stone, Secretary John Hutchins and Treasurer David Corners have all committed to a third year in post.
The Golf Club is now in its 115th year and is always on the lookout for to new members.
