'Heroes' wanted for Great Scilly Spring Clean
The Great Scilly Spring Clean 2019 will take place later this month.

The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust has announced the itinerary for the annual event, which this year sees 14 scheduled cleans across the weekend of Friday March 22nd to Sunday March 24th.
The work will kick off on St Mary's on Friday, with 10 different beaches to be tackled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be whole island coastal and beach cleans on St Agnes, Bryher, Tresco and St Martins on Sunday.
The Wildlife Trust wrote on social media: "That time of year is almost upon us and we have a huge clean up operation planned once again The Great Scilly Spring Clean is a fantastic Community Event and each year it just gets better, in terms of participation and everyone pulling together.
"A big 'Thank You' once again to all those who are helping to spread the load and leading cleans across our Islands. Many hands do indeed make light work and you've all been super quick and awesome at responding to messages throughout our organisation of it all!
"If you are unable to join one of the 14 organised cleans, or there's a beach not being done that you would like to do let us know and we'll add it to the mix and encourage people to join you!"
The Great Scilly Spring Clean 2018 saw 359 people remove 337 bags of marine debris seven islands.
