Council, Healthwatch to hold public meetings

March 1, 2019

The Council of the Isles of Scilly will hold a public meeting on budget spending priorities this weekend.

The meeting will take place tomorrow (Saturday March 2nd) between 10am and 11am at the Wesleyan Chapel on St Mary's.

Islanders are asked to attend to "find out more about the proposed budget for the coming financial year and how we're working to improve the Authority's finances".

Meanwhile, Healthwatch will be visiting the off-islands during March, starting on St Agnes at 10.30am today (March 1st).

They will talk about plans for next year, the NHS's long-term plan and how to become a Healthwatch Champion. Scilly residents are urged to give a recent experience of using health or social care "or even just come and have a chat and say hello".
