Latest Draft Local Plan open for public consultation
Public consultation for the Pre-Submission version of the Council's Draft Local Plan is now open.

The 173-page document "aims to find the best balance between delivering much needed homes, supporting the economy and improving infrastructure, whilst safeguarding our exceptional environment".
The plan contains various objectives setting out what the Council wants to achieve up to 2030, including more than 100 new affordable homes.
The consultation on the Pre-Submission version of the Draft Local Plan commenced on Friday (February 22nd) and lasts for six weeks.
Copies of the Consultation Documents (which include a 21-page summary of the Plan) will be available for the community to read during the consultation period at the Town Hall and library on St Mary's; the Island Halls on St Agnes, St Martins and Bryher; and the Community Hall on Tresco.
There will also be drop-in sessions on all the islands as follows:
Tresco 10-11am Wednesday 13th March at the Community Hall
Bryher 12-1pm Wednesday 13th March at the Community Hall
St Mary's 11am -1pm and 4pm -6pm Thursday 14th March at the Town Hall
St Mary's 4pm -6pm Friday 15th March at the Old Town Inn
St Agnes 10am -11am Monday 18th March at the Island Hall
St Martins 1pm - 2pm Monday 18th March at the Island Hall
