ITV News crew filming on Scilly

February 20, 2019

An ITV News crew is currently filming on the islands.

Presenter Grace Pascoe and cameraman Kevin Blanks from ITV News West Country have filmed various slots for the show since their arrival on Monday.

They visited Radio Scilly on Monday, where they filmed Book Show presenter Linda Thomas and her grandson Dylan, as well as talking to Steve Sims and Will Lethbridge about the future of the station.

On Tuesday they filmed a beach clean organised by the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust, as well as the red squirrels at Tresco Abbey Garden.

Today (Wednesday) will see them chatting to members of COSMOS at the new Community Observatory on St Martin's.

The segment about squirrels aired on ITV News West Country on Tuesday and can be viewed on Facebook or Twitter. Read the story on the programme's website here
