A Tresco jetboat moored in St Mary's Harbour ended up on rocks at Porthmellon at the weekend.
'Lightning' came off its mooring during strong winds across Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The boat was eventually retrieved from the rocks by harbour staff on Sunday evening.
A Tresco spokesman said: “A jetboat belonging to Tresco Boat Services was damaged during the storm on Saturday night into Sunday morning.
“Lightning was moored in St Mary’s Harbour during Storm Deirdre, which saw force 10 winds hit the islands.
“The jetboat has been secured alongside Old Quay. Nobody was injured during the incident.”
