Tresco locals offer returns for Christmas
The popular Tresco Christmas and New Year Locals Offer will return for 2018.
Full-time residents of the Isles of Scilly will be able to enjoy up to a 75% discount on the cost of a cottage on Tresco over Christmas and New Year.
The island’s sought-after Sea Garden and Flying Boat Cottages, sleeping up to 8 people, will be available to islanders for £750 per week. Local residents can also stay at The New Inn, where a special islander B&B rate of £70 per person per night will be available.
Further information about the cottages is available at www.tresco.co.uk but bookings must be made by telephone with the Tresco Island Office on 01720 422849 to secure the local rate. This offer is valid for full time residents of the Isles of Scilly over the festive period, subject to availability.
The luxurious cottages enjoy sea views over Northwethel, Tean and St Helen’s and the Eastern Isles or towards Bryher and Samson across New Grimsby harbour. Each cottage features a log burning stove, WiFi, satellite television, original artwork and up to four bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people.
All guests will be welcome to use the spa facilities at the Tresco Island Spa and Sea Garden, including indoor pools, Jacuzzis, saunas, steam room and gym. Guests will also receive complimentary entry to Tresco Abbey Garden, where hundreds of species of plant are in full bloom at this time of year.
Guests can join the festivities with a candlelit carol service at St Nicholas’ Church on Christmas Eve, a traditional Christmas Day service, and live music from Scillonian band The Steamband on New Year’s Eve.
