Recorded crime on Scilly down 31% from last year
There were 81 reported crimes on the Isles of Scilly in the 12 months from July 2017 to June 2018, a fall of 31%.

The number is 36 less than the previous year, according to figures just released by the Office for National Statistics.
Crimes in the category of 'Residential burglary' rose sharply, from 1 last year to 7 this year. However, with the exception of 'vehicle offences' and 'stalking & harassment', all other categories saw a fall in numbers.
Recorded crime rose 17% across the Devon & Cornwall force area.
Across England and Wales, there has been a 10% rise in crime, with homicide (murder and manslaughter) at its highest rate in a decade.

There were no recorded cases in the categories 'Theft from the person', 'Robbery, 'Homicide' 'Miscellaneous crimes against society' or 'Death or serious injury caused by illegal driving' over this period.
