Bishop & Wolf future uncertain when tenant leaves
The Bishop & Wolf on St Mary's currently has no-one to take over when the current tenant leaves.

Emma Squire has announced that she is leaving the pub at the end of this month and the brewery has been advertising for a couple to replace her. However, the search has so far been unsuccessful.
A St Austell spokeswoman told This is Scilly: "Unfortunately we are currently yet to find a tenant for the Bishop & Wolf when our current tenant leaves in October. Please be assured we are actively seeking."
Emma recently posed on Facebook: "As I come to my final 4 weeks in the Bishop I would like to celebrate my happy memories of the place. I would also like to thank my amazing staff who have worked so hard for me this year and my loyal customers because without you there would be no Bishop and Wolf!
"We have a lot to look forward to over next 4 weeks with some great bands on, disco, karaoke, quiz night and folk night so please try and pop in and have a final farewell drink at some point with me, James, Ben, George, Heather, Mark, Cheryl and Charlie before we all hang up our key fobs and aprons!
"Thank you for all making last few years at the bishop an amazing experience and memorable."
St Austell's advert for the pub reads: "A great opportunity has arisen to take the tenancy of a well-established pub in the heart of Hugh Town on St Mary’s. The pub has recently undergone a full refurbishment to the downstairs trade area.
"Would suit a couple who are familiar with island life, enjoy being part of the community, who thrive with a busy seasonal trade and have a strong catering background."
The pub consists of the main trade area, upstairs restaurant (currently being used as a Children’s indoor soft play area) and terraced wall garden. There is also a two bedroom flat, plus six staff bedrooms with en-suites.
