Dame Judi Dench "can't wait" to return to Tresco
Dame Judi Dench has said it is "very hard" to return to normal life after spending two weeks on Tresco.
Dame Judi, who has visited Scilly several times in the past, has just returned from a family holiday on the island and said she "can't wait to return".
The actress managed to catch the annual performance by the Festival Players theatre group and agreed to become its Patron.
She told This is Scilly after her visit: "Having just had two weeks of a family holiday on Tresco, coming back to the real world is very hard. We have been before and can’t wait to go back."
Dame Judi Dench is the latest of a string of celebrities to holiday on the Isles of Scilly.
