Bryher bride shares wedding day with royals
A Bryher resident who is to marry on the same day as the Royal Wedding has said she will have it on in the background as she gets ready.

Jasmine Callan will tie the knot with Cornwall-born Logan Melley on Bryher tomorrow (May 19th) as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do the same at Windsor Castle.
The couple met when Logan came to work for a season at Hell Bay Hotel, where his future bride was also working. They will marry at Bryher Church on what is their five-year anniversary.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine via website Bridebook, Jasmine said: "When Prince Harry and Meghan first got engaged, we joked that they were stealing our thunder but then we realised that it will be a day that many people will remember and we will always have that connection to the royals.
'Our niece was born in the evening of the day we got engaged so it's quite funny that we are also sharing our wedding with another event."

Jasmine said she will have the Royal Wedding on the TV while she and the bridal party get ready. "I imagine it will feel quite surreal knowing that I'll be feeling similar emotions to Meghan that morning. It will be interesting to see if we have any similarities in our hair or dress or flowers. I'm glad we won't have such a big audience, though.
"My dad joked that he would be too busy watching the royals to come to our wedding but honestly I think the FA Cup final has just as much to do with it!"
Jasmine and Logan previously met Prince William and Kate when the royal couple visited Tresco Abbey Garden - and Logan chose the same location when he proposed to Jasmine with her late Great Aunt's ring.
She added: "Although we won't be surrounded by thousands of people on our day like Harry and Meghan, we will be surrounded by beautiful beaches and scenery. On our islands, a local wedding is almost as exciting as a Royal Wedding so I will be feeling a little like a princess for the day too."
