Isles of Scilly Golf Club seeking new stewards
The Isles of Scilly Golf Club has invited applications for the role of stewards.
Current incumbents Pete and Tania Reynolds will leave the role in August.
The Club's advert reads: "This position will ideally suit an enterprising couple, one of whom should hold a personal licence, or meet the criteria to apply for one on appointment.
"The ability to develop a friendly and hospitable environment for members and guests is essential."
The stewards are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club, including keeping and running a licensed members bar and restaurant, collecting green fees, organising the hire of golf buggies and golf clubs, running the club’s shop, cleaning of the common areas and organising functions.
The position includes three-bedroom accommodation within the clubhouse building.
Interested people are asked to write with their CVs to Hon. Secretary John Hutchins via the Isles of Scilly Golf Club, Carn Morval, Isles of Scilly TR21 0NF or via email at email@example.com.
