Island Helicopters offers special Travel Club discount
Island Helicopters is offering Isles of Scilly residents a special discount to celebrate the return of helicopters to the islands this month.
Members of the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group’s Travel Club have the chance to experience a helicopter flight with a limited number of reduced price tickets available to club members for the first 10 days of the Island Helicopters service, which are available to book on a first come, first served basis until May 21st.
Travel Club members can book helicopter flights for the period between 21st-31st May for a fixed fee of £85 one way, or £170 return. Full price fares start from £215 return.
Sharon Sandercock, Marketing Manager for the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group, said: “With just three weeks to go until the launch of Island Helicopters on 21st May, we are excited to offer our Travel Club members the chance to take advantage of a limited offer so they can experience a helicopter flight as soon as the service starts operations.
“Island Helicopters will provide islanders with a highly reliable and weather-resistant form of travel to and from the mainland year-round, as well as being enormously fun to use, and we want to ensure full-time residents of the islands have the opportunity to try out the helicopter straight away.
“This limited, 10-day offer is only available to Travel Club members and with ticket sales for Island Helicopters already very strong, we’d advise islanders to book quickly, as the special rate tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and the offer will close on May 21st when the service launches.”
Island Helicopters will fly from Land’s End Airport to the Isles of Scilly up to eight times a day, six days a week.
