Co-op granted permission for new signage
The Co-op on St Mary's has been granted planning permission to change its external signage.

The Hugh Town Store had requested four separate signs, two of which are illuminated.
An approximation of the new signage is included in the application and pictured below:

Advertisement consent was granted for one externally illuminated projector, one externally illuminated logo, one non-illuminated wall mounted aluminium panel and one set of non-illuminated acrylic letters.
The main sign - which currently consists of the words 'The co-operative food' - will now read 'Welcome to Isles of Scilly's Co-op'.
A further sign contains the National Lottery symbol, indicating that the Co-op will start selling tickets.
