The Great Scilly Spring Clean 2018 will take place on the first weekend of March.
The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust has announced the programme for the annual event, which this year sees 12 scheduled beach cleans on St Mary's across Saturday March 3rd and Sunday March 4th.
There will also be whole island coastal/beach cleans on St Agnes, Bryher, Tresco and St Martin's on Sunday.
The Wildlife Trust wrote on social media: "Can we beat the 300 mark in terms of attendees this year?? Which group will collect the most marine debris (not that it's a competition!?) What will be the weirdest find??
"Please spread the word and put the date(s) in your diary - this is a fantastic community event and as the saying goes 'many hands make light work!'
"Let's make Scilly sparkle for all the right reasons!"
The Great Scilly Spring Clean in March 2017 saw 288 people collecting 293 bags of rubbish over two weekends.
