The islands and the Outer Hebrides beat 251 other Council areas in a list of best and worst sleep locations.
The information was revealed following a Freedom of Information (FoI) Act request by the firm Anglian Home Improvements. The Council of the Isles of Scilly received 40 noise complaints between January 1, 2015, and August 31, 2017, one of which resulted in a noise abatement notice.
The complaints were mainly related to street noise, animals, parties and loud music.
The worst location to sleep was the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea, which saw 34,910 noise complaints over the 32-month research period. The main cause for complaint was music, followed by building work and buskers. Belfast was second, with 17,480 complaints.
Mid Sussex District Council issued the highest number of abatement notices.
