Lead Member for Place Robert Francis wrote in his report for next week's Full Council meeting that the electrical installation works were completed to the schedule reported last month.

He continued: "The new meter has been installed and the electrical contractors have visited the site for final tests. The majority of the site has been handed back to the Council and the team will now commence with a phased transition of operations to the new facility.

"The community will be kept up to date with any changes that will impact on them directly but should anticipate that it will be ‘business as usual’ when visiting the site."

Robert also revealed that the islands recycled 24% of waste produced in September.
