Mal de Mers score narrow victory against Islands


The Mal de Mers won their most recent competition against the Isles of Scilly by a narrow margin.

The mainland-based club scored 10.5 to the Islands' 9.5. Four events were cancelled.

Some 41 Mals descended on Scilly for their annual week of sporting competition on September 27th. The trip, which marked 85 years since the club's first visit, featured 21 events across six days.

The Islands won last year's competition by 12.5 to 7.5. 2015 resulted in a draw.
