Visiting choir returns to raise money for Wildlife Trust
A mainland choir have returned to the islands to perform in aid of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust.
Last year InTune, a "modern ladies choir" from Cornwall, raised £850 for the Trust with three performances after their leader became inspired by the charity's work.
Now they are back for three more performances, all free of charge, including one with resident ladies choir Scilly Sirens.
IOSWT Communications officer Nikki Banfield explained last year: “Choir Mistress Amy Sapwell attended one of our rockpooling sessions with her family in 2017 on Bryher. At the end she said that she thought the work of the Trust across the islands was so fantastic that she would like to arrange for her choir to put on some fundraising performances in aid of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust.”
Nikki wrote ahead of this year's visit: "We are super excited about the coming week as the lovely ladies from InTune Choir are Scilly bound tomorrow!
"Rest your weary legs, give your ears a treat and support our small Island charity to continue looking after all the best bits of Scilly!"
