Brewery offers Bishop tenant finders fee

St Austell Brewery is offering £1,000 to any islander who can recommend a suitable new tenant for the Bishop & Wolf.

The brewery was in "advanced talks" with a couple to take over the pub in the New Year but the potential arrangement fell through.

The company's Recruitment Manager Nick Mayor said: "We are still actively looking for a new tenant at the Bishop & Wolf Pub on St Mary's and St Austell Brewery would like to offer £1,000 to a local person that could recommend a new suitable tenant (Referral Scheme) to us, whether it be from the mainland or one of the islands.

"To qualify for the money, the suitable candidate must be financially funded and commit to our long term tenancy agreement with us for the Bishop."

Read more information on the vacancy on the St Austell website here or contact Brewery Recruitment Secretary Chris Marsh on 01726 627267 or marshc@staustellbrewery.co.uk.

The Bishop & Wolf closed its doors on October 5th when previous tenants Emma and James Squire left.
